BIOGRAPHY: Modern-day Morgane is the descendent (and possibly the reincarnation) of Morgan Le Fey, a notorious and very powerful sorceress who was King Arthur's sister, and heir to Vivien, the Lady of the Lake, Queen of the third Avalon. Much about Morgane's past remains unknown. However, we know that she rescued a dying Arthur after his battle with Modred and, at the behest of unknown powers, took him to another galaxy in the far future (see Malinbourne). Much later, Morgane was persecuted by Spanish Inquisitor Torquemada, and eventually vanished near the Lake of Alos in French Britanny. Modern-day Morgane discovered her powers only in her early 20ies and learned of her origins after meeting with her ancestress' shade. She has not yet mastered the full extent of her abilities, not recovered all of her ancestress' memories. Morgane has fallen in love with Faust, a handsome young nobleman / sorcerer's apprentice who was in love with the first Morgane and is magically condemned to spend part of his life as a black cat. Her previous boy-friend, Paul Torquemada, was possessed by the spirit of his evil ancestor and became her enemy. She has since run afoul of the evil sorcerer Makar and the cult of the Sons of Shivar. |
